Ondrej Kubu

Ondřej Kubů is the chef of Eat Smart and is one of the young talents of Czech gastronomy. He drew attention to himself by winning the KU Young Chef 2023 competition and, under the guidance of Martin Staňek, he also participated in the preparation for the international Bocuse d'Or. In 2024, he completed an internship at the prestigious EHL school in Switzerland and attended the Swiss Michelin Gala Dinner. He has been working professionally in the industry for more than six years. He brings passion, precision and youthful energy to his work, combines traditional gastronomy with a modern approach and gradually profiles himself as a distinctive personality of the Czech culinary scene.

Eat Smart is led by an experienced manager with more than 20 years of experience in the gastronomic business not only in the Czech Republic but also in most European countries. He worked for twenty-four years at AmRest, the umbrella company for the world's most famous fast food brands, and for more than six years he led and carried it through pandemia. He was also involved in the development of the Dean&David concept at European level. He joined Eat Smart to help manage a dynamically growing start-up. He draws on both his international experience and his extensive contacts.
